While most of the lands meat comes from the fishing ports built though out the land, another source of protein and iron comes from cooking the flesh of giant bugs. While the word bug is used to describe these creatures as a whole, a large portion of these creatures are arthropods and annelids. The most nutritious of these giant bugs are worms that span the length of 15 feet. The mouth of an adult giant worm can open up to 3 feet in radius. These worms bury tunnels underground, leaving holes for other giant bugs and those who are unsuspecting. The meat of a giant worm is fatty and protein rich, serving as a popular substitute to fish when hulls are low. Though the hunting of these worms have proven to be quite a dangerous task.
