So I was mulling around after finishing the facedump, wondering what to do next, then I thought, what the heck, she needed a design update, so why not do one? And so I did! Yay.

This took me WAAAAAAAY too long to do. And I know the anatomy is still sorta screwed even after I messed with the sketch for upwards of an hour. But at least it's done!

Also, I don't wanna delay the naming process any longer, so I'm just gonna call her Alyx. I started off wanting to use a unisex name, so I settled on Alex. Then I decided Alex was a little too overused, so I changed it up a little! Also, as a bonus I realised later, 'Alyx' sounds somewhat like 'Alister' - yet another thing to link them together with.

Just a quick backstory here: Alyx is Alister's daughter, one of the first Lombaxes born upon arriving in the new dimension. Her mom, who died at childbirth, wasn't married to her dad; he never knew she existed, and naturally she never met him. Unfortunately she turned out to resemble Alister rather a lot, which is not a good thing considering she lives in a society where 'most everyone lost a loved one due to his folly. Not good at all.

Those bandages are covering up scars she got when she was young, though since the original injury was pretty awful, they still bleed quite often. She's rather secretive over how she got them.

So there! That's her sad, sad life in a nutshell, complete with a pretty little drawing to go with it. Hmm. Maybe I should make this a series for all my OCs.
