Ok, here's some Fanart for one of my favorite show/movie. This could also count as my third "Photoshop Painting" because thats exactly what it is. I spent a hell of a lot more time on this then I thought I would. Mostly because I've never really done anything like this before. Took me about 5 hours. All done with the mouse.If you've seen the Movie Serenity, then you know where this is from. If you haven't seen the movie, then go out and buy it to find out.
... You should also pick up the show Firefly on DVD. F'ing beautiful show, and the movie is just as good!

This scene was epic, and your rendering of it awesome. I love that you even put in the Alliance goons in the background, and River looks the perfrect mix of kick-ass and off-her-rocker.

As is only appropriate... Shiny. I have to admit that my judgment may be influenced by the fact that that scene was among my favorites, both because it's just so gorram beautiful, and also because River kicking Reaver ass made me feel kinda like Wash (among the greatest characters of all time in anything) got some much deserved revenge. As I said before: Shiny.

YAYNESS!!! Serenity is the best movie on earth...*sigh* And of course...Firefly is the best ever TV show. Such a shame it only ran for one season when Buffy ran for, what, seven? Anycase, awesome work! I'd have never had the patience to sit on Photoshop for that long...so good for you!

my fiance and I saw Serenity in the theater and it was awesome!
Then he picked up Firefly on DVD, and I am now a Firefly widow until he is done... I would watch it with him except our work scheduals conflict right now *sigh*
But River is my favorit female character (with Wash being my favorit male), you really captured the mood the the moment! Just looks awesome
