Description
Shigarum swamps teem with various insects. Many of them are quite large and posing a threat to inhabitants of this region as much as to random travelers. It is rumored that some especially dangerous species have been bred long ago by elvish druids and introduced into Shigarum to reduce goblin population here. Nevertheless, goblins adapted to live alongside their menacing neighbors, and even learned to use them to the good. The giant branch-bugs (above) are believed to be the greatest threat of Shigarum, as they are deadly ambush predators the size of the Great Dane dog that readily prey upon goblins.
