Yeah...I'm gonna miss him, but he's in a better place, now, and that's what matters.
He wasn't that heavy, either, so he's probably a very young boy. (Actually he was pretty older than a hatchling when I first got him.)
I been told that there is 'one' way to find out if a snake is a boy or a girl...but the process might be traumatizing to the snake, and I definitely don't want to do that to him. XD

There's actually a couple ways, either probing or popping. but popping is seriously best left to the professionals, because an amateur doing it wrong could permanently damage their reproductive organs 
probing is actually very easy and not traumatizing at all! I probed a couple of my snakes when they were young just to confirm the sex. the probe slips in and out very easily LOL.
