I'm not sure how the horns on his neck work either
I think they're supposed to go along his spine in the beginning.... and magically curve the WRONG way onto his chest. 
The result of some doodling yesterday! c:
somehow I have some more time now :< So I'm probably going to submit these kinds of doodles more often @.@

hope you don't if I critique it just a bit but the placement of the spikes on its back really do distract me since since it doesn't follow the path of the spine, but the colours are simply gorgeous.
