Alright! Since Himaruya came out with a new style for country profiles, I'll be redoing some of my OCs' profiles!Next one should be Portugal.

Hmmm... I like it, but now i have a strange Florida-and-Ireland story to tell. My friend Marti, who is super pale, went on a horseback trip to Ireland in College. Being form Florida, she was pale but had tanned a little over the summer. One of the first things she was asked when her equestrian club stayed at a family owned hotel: "Are you kids half black? You're all so dark!"

While I enjoy your art I came to the exact opposite conclusion as to Irelandβs gender (I also think he/she would be the oldest). It makes no sense for her to be a guy.
Consider:
Not only is Ireland a traditionally matriarchal society with Cessair(Of the race known as the Partholans who were among the first to occupy Ireland, she is the first ruler of Ireland. Cessair's "I was here first" image was so strong among Irish Pagans that when the Christians could not eliminate her from record, they made her the granddaughter of their flood savior, Noah.) ancient Irelandβs highest deity, Danu, a female(compare to other societyβs-greece, rome, etc, whose sky gods generally trumped their goddesses), Echtghe, who was the Great Mother Goddess of IRELAND, The Serpent and the Goddess, a study on women, religion and power in Celtic Ireland asserts "surely, just as England had colonised the people of Ireland, we Irish women were, just as effectively, a people colonised by the patriarchal relations of Church and State", the shamrock (whose three leaves shaped like hearts were associated with the Triple Goddess of Celtic mythology, otherwise known as the "Three Morgans". The Triple Goddess represented the Triple Mothers, the hearts of the ancient Celtic tribes) which during the days of Queen Victoria, the shamrock became a symbol of rebellion against the oppression of the Crown, when the Queen made it a capital crime to wear the shamrock on military uniforms, punishable by death. I think Ireland's profile is simply amazing but I do however have to point out a slight and common error. Ireland's native language is Irish, not Gaelic. Gaelic is Scotland's native language, it comes from the longer name "Scots-Gaelic". Although in Irish we do call the language "Gaeilge", when translating that to English its simply "Irish". In their own language the Scots call their native language "GΓ idhlig".
Yes, Scots-Gaelic does originate from the Irish language but if I were to meet a Scot who speaks Gealic I swear I wouldn't understand a thing. And I speak Irish.
