Heheh thanks. yeah! I also tried paying attention to when I went to get my hair cut, and watch Youtube videos....all that. It's so much easier with a wig! And I feel like it's intimidating at first, but if you go slowly it's fine c:

Well there's this "futura" wig, it's a bit more expensive, but it can stand irons and stuff, up to 400 F.
I usually just search for the words heat resistant and stuff. I'm still wary of using straightening irons though...hot water works well enough

so hot water is useful for straightening wigs? cool, i didn't know that. sometime soon i'll try styling my own wig, but the current cosplay I'm working on is Alucard from Hellsing, and i found a wig for it. in terms of styling, do some hairsprays melt some wigs?

Hairsprays? Melting wigs? Never heard of that happening...I mean, if your wig was so bad that a little moisture would melt it, that's. A bad idea xD

XD its just that some wigs are made of materials that i'm not sure what would happen if you added the chemicals from hairspray to them. my mum brought it up when i was originally planning to style my own grell wig, but i ended up just buying one on ebay.
