I just couldn't resist in uploading this! XDI'm working on a nice drawing for the day of the dead holiday!
it's still working in progress but I really think you my friends and
watchers deserve a sneak peek of my drawing ^___^
this is actually the first time I draw Maria from the book of life!
I already started drawing manolo like a month ago X3
and this is what I mean about drawing fanart of the other characters, not
just fan art of la muerte but also the other characters deserve a lot of
attention too.
to remind you all, I DO love la muerte because she is a beautiful and
amazing character, but I really think we need to draw manolo, Maria
, Joaquin and xibalba too X3
but anyway, I hope you like how my drawing is coming so far ^^
I will upload the finished colored version in maybe November 1 or 2 since
the day of the dead is celebrated during those days. ^______________^

Ah.Β I'm not really into CGI films, but I am starting to get into them. After all, it is the next big thing after all, and I am starting not to let my opinions get in the way of progress.

I understand you're not into CGI but I know the book of life will amaze you :3
Also, this movie also teaches us that we shouldn't feel sad for the ones who passed away. I know it hurts painfully, but suddenly it will make you understand that while we still remember them, they will always be alive with us.
Back in 2009 I lost my grandfather, and it really made me depressed, I didn't wanted to do anything or talk to anybody. Then I started learning about the celebration of the day of the dead.
And when I heard about the book of life, I just had to watch it in its premiere day. So I did ^^
Look, I know you are sad because of your mom, but do you know what I know? Your mom is not truly gone. Her spirit is still alive, she's with you. Because you remember her.
The book of life really made me feel more stronger, to keep living life, even if bad moments happen sometimes.
This why Jorge r. Gutierrez has this quote: "as long as we remember our passed loved ones, they will always be alive with us, but when we no longer remember them, only then they are truly gone".
And that's why I'm feeling better and stronger everyday, I'm never alone, because my memory is what keeps my grandfather alive. And I know you can be strong and still have your mother's spirit with you.

That is true.Β I loved my mother very much, and as long as I have my memories of her, her spirit will remain with me forever.Β I can see why everyone likes Jorge Guitterez's work very much.

Jorge Gutierrez is a pretty awesome guy, and he always cares about his fans. He even replies back in twitter when his fans always ask him questions ^___^
He is also a big inspiration to me. He always talks about family, his love of animation, and motivations to help others to keep moving forward.
And you know what else in what I think?
Your mom must be feeling so proud of you right now. Because you decided to start over. And she's not the only one... I'm also proud of you. When you left, I was just heartbroken. I thought I failed to help you, I thought you were gone forever. And now that you came back, I started feeling more happier.
And I'm hoping the best for you. And I know your mom is also hoping you live your life better.

Well, I am not like him. I do not like artists. I do not like animators.Β They pretty much destroyed all of my dreams of wanting to be a cartoonist and animator because they are better than me, and the fact that I have to learn all of those hard art techniques. I gave up art because of this.Β I just cannot be an animator because you have to be open minded.

Reaching a goal is hard but you can't give up that easily.
Jorge cares about everyone and he helped many people who had problems.

I was not prepared to like it that much to be true, but now I ended up watching it 5 times already and I kind of want the artbook ... and the soundtrack ... and all the things 'xD

Its such a beautiful movie! It had so much detail and colors than frozen!
I kinda don't like frozen, its like too super overrated and there's not that much merchandise from other Disney movies than frozen. Its frozen there, frozen here, its kinda driving me crazy and annoyed!
But the book of life has more beauty! Its shows so much love between family and friendship and it has a pretty good plot! And the characters are all different and unique! :3
I mostly love Manolo! He is such a sweetheart!!!!! ^\\\\\\\\\^

I think it was better than Frozen, too, though I kinda liked Frozen as well. A artist friend kept reblogging stuff about Hans which made me feel sorry for him, is why, and I liked the message. Think it helped a lot of people cope with stuff, so I won't say it was bad because it was popular. I hope it will be spring in the next part, so I guess it's getting a bit more colorful then, but it will still suck compared to Book of Life, for sure. So happy there will be more movies >U< I'm not used to get more content, considering my first all time favourite movie's Megamind, haha.
