I have noticed that...makes you wonder...but nah! He's way too evil. But we the fan girls could always dream.

Very stylish. Starscream seems to be at his best when he's using his claws, so portraying his decision to become neutral by having both faction insignias slashed up is quite cool. Nicely drawn, as well, and we agree that this version of the "silver snake" sure seems more menacing and competent than any other Starscream before him (Cybertron and the Movie weren't too bad, but the former had disturbingly heroic resolve and a healthy dose of insanity, while the latter's design was...odd, to say the least).
As for where he's going...no idea. We have a funny feeling that he'll end up working with MECH, though...

OMG you think that too!? I thought I was the only one thinking Screamer would side up with Mech to make a Combiner (although he would keep the "control code" for himself so only he could command it) Maybe that's what Project Chimera is?

SliverEmperor In reply to Fire-Redhead [2012-01-26 14:39:51 +0000 UTC]
Okay, we maaaay have got the idea from the Wild Mass Guessing on TV Tropes, but it makes sense. Silas has worked with a Decepticon before, and Starscream would get plenty of new ideas from a different perspective. Of course, there's the little fact that 'Scream hates organics and humans...but he'd probably be able to put on a show of caring. Not to mention that it'd be pretty funny to see him prepare to betray MECH, only for Silas to double-cross him first.
Yeah, we have a feeling that Silas' new project is almost certainly going to involve a combiner in some way (either that, or he's planning to make an army of human-Transformer hybrids). The only question is...which combiner would fit with MECH? Our guess is Menasor/the Stunticons (they'd have to rename the "Breakdown" component, though) or Bruticus/the Combaticons; can't really see Silas making a bunch of robots based on construction vehicles, wild animals, aliens, or mythological monsters.
Oddly, Magmatron (BW toy-only character, unless you count the comics and Japanese spinoffs) would be a literal fit for Project Chimera-his beast mode can split into three prehistoric monsters or combine into a single nightmarish dragon-like creature. We HIGHLY doubt he's the result of Project Chimera, though...

Hmm. I was betting either Menasor (with a Breakdown part since they got all his specs) or maybe Devastator as construction vehicles would be accessible...OR maybe they'll make the Dinobots...who knows?
I made an audio review of the episode Partners and made this guess that SS would "side" with MECH because of an interview Steve Blum had and he said in Starscream's voice "I really do love their work." Hmm...spoiler? Dunno.

SliverEmperor In reply to Fire-Redhead [2012-01-26 23:46:18 +0000 UTC]
Well, Menasor is the most likely based on what we've seen so far of MECH's available tech (sleek cars and the aforementioned Breakdown data), but the only problem is that they'd definitely rename Breakdown to avoid anyone getting confused. The question is...what would they call him? Nemesis Breakdown? Crumplezone? Tankor? Swindle? Bonecrusher the Hateful Hatemachine?
Devastator, again, would be another logical choice in terms of access to vehicles, but it wouldn't really fit MECH's style-loud, clunky, and likely garish green and purple (or else the G1 purists will whine). Same reason why we doubt Bruticus will result from Project Chimera: we haven't seen any heavy artillery vehicles in Silas' roster, although the helicopters fit nicely, and the Combaticons WERE created by Starscream in G1...
Also, if MECH built the Dinobots, that would be awesome, funny, and terrifying. Awesome because it's the effing DINOBOTS. Funny because we really can't see the stoic, militaristic Silas building boisterous, aggressive, extremely hard-to-control robot DINOSAURS. And terrifying because building the Dinobots increases the chances that they can combine-and nobody wants to remember the LAST time they did that...
Hmmm...that is an interesting bit of dialogue. Hard to tell...maybe Steve's just trying to throw us off the trail of what Starscream's REALLY up to. If he doesn't join with MECH, maybe he'll find another human to do his dirty work.
...
...What're the odds that Silas has a rebellious scientist named Dr. Arkeville in his group?

OOO yeah! I forgot about that little monkey. Did you see the new season trailer yet?! Starscream is definitely in a bunker fleeing from explosions in that one...and Soundwave is a freakin' boss. I'm so excited to see it
π: 0 β©: 1
SliverEmperor In reply to Fire-Redhead [2012-01-27 05:17:10 +0000 UTC]
Hey, it'd make sense. A human scientist rejected from MECH due to crossing lines not even Silas can stand meeting a Decepticon who decided to go rogue and become unaffiliated...yep, we could see it happening.
There's a season trailer?! Awesome! The most recent TFP thing we've seen was a weird Hub promotional commercual from Christmas-it had Transformers, ponies, random cartoon characters-oh yeah, and the effing JOKER hijacking their rendition of Jingle Bells!
And somehow, the characterization of Starscream and Soundwave doesn't surprise us in the least. Especially not Soundwave-frankly, we're pretty sure that the series finale will basically involve Soundwave either entering the battlefield personally and destroying everyone else with his bare hands (and Laserbeak), or speaking in his own voice (preferably in a G1-style growl similar to Dr. Claw. That was one of the only voices in G1 we actually tolerated).

I agree so much with this one. Starscream is such an amazing villain. I've loved his character for so long. He's the kind who dares to defy, and wants to do better than Megatron ever will.
I'm wondering where he is since he was last seen in the episode "Partners." When it comes to Starscream, you can never trust someone like him, but in war, you can't really trust anyone. Starscream pretty much destroyed his chances with the Autobots, but that's what happens.
I believe Starscream really did want things to work out between him and Megatron, but that is something one can only dream of and unfortunately it goes to shame. One thing is admirable about Starscream in what has happened so far, "He takes orders from no one, and will not allow them to push him down. If so, he'll push right through them, until their armor leaks energon."
If Starscream does die, lets hope he dies having the last laugh at Megatron sayinf something like,"You're the fool Megatron. No matter what you do to try to win this war, you never do. It's not us who let you down, it's you who let us down....master."
Awesome art work. I love every moment.

Thank you for responding.

Agreed as well. I look at him more as the "undying", but I like what said too. Starscream's a very popular character, so he's not going anywhere.
So far, from what I've heard, he's readying himself for Megatron and the Autobots, and he's prepared. I look very much forward to the Season 2 of the Prime series. And also on deviant art I saw something called the Story of Starscream. If they'll make that an episode out of that, I'm sooo watching it.
Thank you again, and keep up the good work.

I would have to agree with Galaxypa, my fav Starscream to this point was the Armada one where he didn't go "Good" but he had honor. While in this one he is a sneaky bastard which rocks I really hope they go for the "No more Sides, Just Us" Sorta Personality which he had in the movies (comic book stuff that is what he wanted, if you read lol, the movies kinda blew that idea out of the water)

I have been loving the series as well. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping they will bring in his Energon Seekers. Because I'm betting it's Skywarp and Thundercracker. I think that would be so awesome if they did.

I know tell me about it. Of all his clones I think Slipstream was my fav. I loved her attitude towards him especially when they are flying off the moon together.
Slipstream: "Well well look who just got to the point."
Starscream: *frowns* Don't start with me woman."
Slipstream: "Start what? Who's starting?"
I loved that between them it was hilarious.

I wouldn't mind cosplaying her one day after I get to do my G1 Coronation Starscream costume. It will be my first cross play as a guy. XD
Well unless I do Ciel from Black Butler when he's having to wear the dress. I don't know if you could really count that as a crossplay for me though. It's a guy dressed as a guy. It would basically be a girl cross dressing as guy who is cross dressing a girl. XD
