Yup, another art collab, this time with the fantastic ! A couple weeks ago, we decided to do a shiny badge quest race on Heartgold/Soulsilver, with her on SS and me on HG. A shiny badge quest is where you play through a Pokemon game like normal, but you must catch a shiny Pokemon before each gym. And we're doing a race for the heck of it. ^^So, we decided to do our first collaboration together and draw each other's team! I drew Mak's team on the left, which includes Cinder the Quilava, Nagini the Ekans, Pie the Flaffy, and Guinevere the Nidorina. Mak drew my team on the right (AND IT LOOKS FREAKING AMAZING HOLY CRAP), which includes Mango the Bayleef, Chip the Rattata, Lil Dipper the Flaffy, and Kiba the Growlithe!
As you can see, we're in a tie with four shinies each, and our next goal for each of us is a shiny Eevee! She has a head start on me by several days, but who knows who'll get lucky first? I suppose we'll see soon enough! ^^

Ugh you're telling me... I'm taking a break from mewoth or any shiny hunting for that matter for now. I haven't been counting, but I've spent a total of 85 hours searching for this thing (I subtracted it from the time played on SS, I initially had 31 hours). So I've given up for now.

Yep, Ho-Oh was technically longer... I did at least 7K for it over the span of two years, but I did it in really sporadic bursts. But this Eevee ... It's been going for more than four weeks, and I'm almost at 4K now. I just ... I just want that shiny Eevee. ;3; Why. Why must it hide from me? I suppose it just feels like such a long hunt because the SR's are so tedious and long-worded. Why must Bill talk so much?! I just want that dang Eevee!
But just you wait, I bet one of us will come screaming into Skype about the shiny we just found in just a few days!
At least, I really, really hope so. (o_o)
