Meiji as in emperor Meiji of the Meiji revolution? or named after a different Meiji?

Yup that's the right Meiji. The shrine was built to honor emperor Meiji and his wife after they died.

I wish I could visit Japan and see all the shrines and castles. It would alos be nice to see a miko in real life
