In a way, handles a whole ship...which is shaped like a hand. Mostly her duty is in the maintenance of technology present and such. I really don't know much about Peridot since the show hasn't really released much information about her yet

Ehhhh, hahaha... looney Toons. The old ones when it's on. South Park and Futurama sometimes, but I really don't watch a lot of cartoons, mainly because Dish won't let me see Cartoon Network.

My favorite show was Modern Marvels, but I don't see it on History Channel anymore. ..

True! But it's more harm than good.

FireBay In reply to D-Goldenheart [2015-07-15 07:28:02 +0000 UTC]

thats a bummer. hmm, I never saw it, what was it about?

yeah, ugh, but we need it to survive.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-Goldenheart In reply to FireBay [2015-07-15 07:35:59 +0000 UTC]

It was about trying to look into everything about everything, that made the world run. It's really cool, and it was my favorite thing to watch when I was bored.

What about trading? No money. Just trade items and goods, to where money won't just be that one thing everyone is after?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FireBay In reply to D-Goldenheart [2015-07-16 15:49:10 +0000 UTC]

oh now thats indeed interesting!Β

that USED to happen but then, somebody came up with the idea of currency, worked well for a little while until everyone started to exploit it to control a large part of colonies of people and into a permanent dilemma.........its Β piece of paper we created but ended up giving it more importance and value than a human being owning it. we can buy people with belive it or not. pretty weird you ask me. thats why aliens have been avoiding us.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-Goldenheart In reply to FireBay [2015-07-16 18:14:21 +0000 UTC]

Yeah! Haha!

Ah that's so true. If trading was bought back as the main currency somewhere, there wouldn't be any use for paper money, and you'd have to work to get tradable items so you can get food, supplies, etc. And aliens? I believe there is something out there, but not like extremely advanced aliens, but rather a virus or bacteria that could turn into a living species on another planet.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FireBay In reply to D-Goldenheart [2015-07-17 17:41:39 +0000 UTC]

yeah, things would be easier and more balanced for the common people to receive the much needed goods.Β

thats the same idea of aliens for me! I just want to see some interesting bacteria, or plants that have such different features that can adapt to survive the extreme atmosphere of other plants! oh so many possibilities. Its a really REALLY low chance of having complex beings but who knows what happens in the dept regions of space.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-Goldenheart In reply to FireBay [2015-07-17 22:59:33 +0000 UTC]

Yeahhh, haha. The economy is becoming bad because we can't trade.

Exactly! The most I would expect is at least a former of tiny plant life, or at least a bacterial cell, but a huge tree, an intelligent species, or anything like that, that's asking a lot. But I would rather leave those species alone, because you will never know if they will invade us with superior weapons, or want to cooperate and trade with us, to support their poor villages, you know?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FireBay In reply to D-Goldenheart [2015-07-18 14:59:47 +0000 UTC]

yeah, it can happen between the common people but not from the stores where all the goods are stored.Β

true, we cannot comprehend what physical properties they have. and what kind of chemical composition their bodies have and whether they can be dangerous for us or its safe. mostly the risk comes from accidentally taking back a bacteria or virus to earth..... if the probe actually has its course set to earth. yeah, leaving them is better, observation is the best option.

yeah that too! or they could see our planet as a resource and just suck our planet dry.....who knows!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-Goldenheart In reply to FireBay [2015-07-18 23:46:01 +0000 UTC]

Indeed! Hehe.

And exactly! Have you ever seen Marvel Zombies in the comics? It was caused by a diseased probe or sentinel falling from space, with a very contagious alien virus that made ANYONE crave flesh. Sooo, observation is best, I agree. And another example is when in Halo, The Covenant uses water as a power source at times, and planet's water is sucked up.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

FireBay In reply to D-Goldenheart [2015-07-20 16:19:28 +0000 UTC]

oh both sound so horrible! definitely observation. its scary because there are endless possibilities and barely any of them are actually good. I'm scared of some bacteria which grows rapidly in presence of oxygen and utilize it, making us suffocate.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-Goldenheart In reply to FireBay [2015-07-20 19:38:21 +0000 UTC]

I mean, look at us. The only reason why aliens haven't made contact if they exist, is that when they see human beings, they see chaos, death, hostility and the tendency to cut open organisms to see how they work. But, bleh. I think the only way aliens could contact us, would be if there was a peaceful haven somewhere on Earth.

FireBay In reply to D-Goldenheart [2015-07-23 09:02:59 +0000 UTC]

yup, energy hoarders and taking so many risks, despite knowing the consequences. hahaha, aren't we such a morbid specie.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

D-Goldenheart In reply to FireBay [2015-07-23 22:55:52 +0000 UTC]

We are, haha! It's a shame, but maybe it'll be until someone actually works on technology that will actually further humanity in a many medical and technological ways...
