I've been meeting a LOT of furs lately, and it seems most of them are foxes! A unicorn's got to be careful not to step on such relatively little creatures!
I was too lazy to give them each individual characteristics of my various foxy friends, so they're all pretty generic. I did most of them with someone in specific in mind, tho! Can you pick out which one's which?

This is going to sound weird...but at Florida Atlantic University, we're starting a fantasy/sci-fi magazine. It's literary and non-profit. We didn't recieve any art submissions though and this piece goes perfectly with one of the poems that was accepted. The publication will be in black and white and we would like to use this piece in the magazine. Oh wow, thank you, I'm flattered! I hate to say it, but this is a terribly old picture, and the anatomy (especially on the unicorn) just makes me cringe. When is the publication coming out? Would I have time to re-draw this?

Thanks for responding. I e-mailed the professor in charge of it and he's going to give me a date to have it ready by. I also spoke with the poet and she's going to email me a copy of the poem so I can give it to you! I'll keep in touch.

There are so many of us foxies, but so few foxies in non-fur places. Like on tv, or stuffed animals, etc, etc. I wonder why? I lurve the foxies ^_^ This reminds me of a painting I saw at the fair, that was covered in foxes.

'Cause I was working with Prismacolor pens on absorbent paper, so they bled - I remembered to compensate for it on the other foxes, but forgot to do so for that one!

Wow! Honestly, I think you're the first porcine fur I've ever met! Despite their bad rap, pigs and relatives are such intelligent and interesting creatures - it's really weird there's not more!

Its the intelligence and the bad rap that makes porcines have appeal to me. I've felt misunderstood and underestimated myself.
And on a creepy note, you'd be amazed how many people are killed and maimed by pigs a year. *chuckle*
Seriously, I do like pigs a great deal. There's so much baggage on pigs that people don't play them. The very word is a pejorative. There are few good associations with swine. Dogs are loyal and horses are majestic. People think of bad things when they think of pigs.

It's a little tough to call pigs majestic, it's true - but they're so hearty, and smart! And some of them are downright cute to boot! 
Frankly, I'm actually kinda intrigued to hear pigs kill so many people - I've always worried about the way they're kept in those giant factory-farms. Doesn't seem too humane to me.

Pigs will eat just about any kind of meat. And some pigs are more than happy to take a chunk out of you. I've been bit before while helping a friend with his livestock. In the crowded conditions you often find domestic pigs kept in, accidents happen. Usually someone falls in with them and when the pigs, associating people with food, mob the peson. There's somes bites in the excitement and suddenly the person that fell in is food.
I can't remember the number but I thought it was up as high as the number of people killed by dogs a year. Considering how few people have contact with pigs...
