Description Hey, it's been a long time, I know. I've been so out of it these couple of months that I neglected a very special part of me, which is art.

Anyway, how lame could I be? One deviation in January, and then one for February. How productive.

Purok Siete (or the Seventh Region) is a setting in Firecaster where our young Lia used to live. It's a maze of shanties and unpaved paths, occupied by squatters.

I would like to depict how real this is in my country. And there are A LOT of these settings here. Now that the presidential election's coming, I do hope we select one who will actually live up to the promise of economic recovery.

I haven't lived on such place though we're on the same country
I'm from a rural area, and once lived in a middle class urban society
but seeing this made me feel like taking pictures of such subject

the image is still lacking though
color perhaps, cause I still couldn't connect myself to it
[ it's my bias though, so it may not be a problem ]
but I really wanna see the dry and earthy colors I'm imagining in this image

Awesome. I do remember this. Good thing we have Art to lead me back from going astray. It is what it is. Tondo is perhaps the most desolate site we have here, with Caloocan and Bagong Silang not falling far behind. I've been to all those places and I feel nostalgic and thankful just looking at this.
