Description Eyes hurt from looking at this one so long. Iron bound protos again. When you get one there is talk of them being an experiment that was abandon after the raid on Ulduar. This sort of runs along those lines.

Why does he have no wings? .... mmmm.... a horrible accident. Yes. Horrible. We do not speak of it. Hes very sensitive.

Anyway, another to go with this one: [link]

Oh maaaan this is a powerful composition! The combination of pose, expression, and the selective glows of the lights work together amazingly. Overall it's a bit dark and so takes a moment to process fully, but overall it's nice work.

It did turn out a little dark. I think when I look at pieces for a very long period of time the light level isn't the same as when I come back and look at it later. Does that make any sense? I'm not sure if its just me or if its a normal thing.

No, it definitely happens... though not always with light levels, but with different aspects of any picture. When you work really hard on something for a long time, your focus starts to narrow in and you start to miss things... I think I went back and edited this piece like five times after uploading it because I kept noticing tiny errors I'd made-- forgot to blend the lighting on the wings with the background, arm guard was too dark and looked almost invisible, the hand's shape was off... all small things that I didn't even notice when I was working, but once I'd stepped back from it they jumped out at me.

If you want to go back and edit this, you could probably just play around with the Levels or the Brightness/Contrast function in Photoshop... lighten it just enough to bring the figure more into visibility (and make the lighting effects stronger), without losing the atmosphere. (:

(A texture might look nice on it, too!)

I remember what I really found so really attractive about your art...the way you make things glow. It just so...perfectly stands out.

Nice pose and perfect depiction of a labratory type of place for the background.

Wings? I guess they just haven't formed? lol

There were plans for wings... just some how they wandered off some where... >.>

I really like glowing things. I can't help it!
