She's simple not complex. She's cute not gorgeous. She's smart not brainy. But because she's just average she's invisible.When she hurts no one sees.
When she bleeds no one cares.
When she cries no one hears.
She's gentle not rough. She's kind not cruel. She's sweet not mean. Because of this she blends in with the crowds.
When she loves no one cares.
When she sighs no one hears.
When she smiles no one sees.
She's dark not bright. She's quiet not loud. She's sad not happy. She's EMO, she's nonexistent but constantly ridiculed.

Much love to you dear! It does get better. I wrote this as a teenager and now am 23, married, three kids, and a beautiful home. This was my reality and i am so glad Im one of the ones who had hope. If you ever get lost please reach out to me. ❤

true and everyone in this world is unique as far as I know, except the people that deliberately try not to be unique to gain acceptance, I don't like those people. Interesting fact the definition of emo is 'a style of rock music...' I find that rather funny. It'd do better to be classical it suits it more

lol this conversation is getting interesting your use of words is very good I don't think I've heard refreshing in ages and I'm usually forbidden from speaking in large words because then people have trouble figuring out what I'm saying... only issue is that I draw blanks now when I want a specific word for an essay

Well I'm not exactly a child and I do write a lot. I find the need for large words more often than not. The idiocy that is society may be unable to comprehend what I say but at least I can readily express myself.
I know what you mean though, words are often forgotten when they remain unused.
