Amasing job on this. I love the colors, and the contrast you used in the background. I especially love how tribal the background seems. Wonderful work on the detail, too - The houndoom looks like it's popping right off of the screen. Long live number two-hundred ninety-nine!

I bought this and one other one from you this year-
The composition overall holds it together really well. You show the most interesting portion of the one in front in detail while showing the profile (the best way to make the full body interesting) as needed in the background. I like the "contour painting" feel of the terrain in the back and how you only depicted the shape of the grass. It contrasts with the detail of the Pokeman in front and provides the whole image with a darker atmosphere.

I've just signed up so I can comment because, simply, I think this is amazing. There are a lot of great pictures out there; the problem I have with them is that are 'just' pictures, but somehow your Houndoom looks alive and ready to pounce!
But anyway, I love Hellhounds. Great job.
