Edit to change the trees and clouds because they looked like they were just scribbled there.And they kind of were.
Turns out I had more time than I thought, so I decided to edit them. :'D

You're probably not going to find a convention only for Zelda. xD
Aw man that would be sweet... But anyway, most cons are sorta... multi-genre, if that's the word for it. Like, they have anime stuff, and videogames, and East Asian music/entertainment stuff. Even at a small con, you can expect to see at least three Link cosplayers walking around. :'D
You should look up ones in your state on that site first, and then you can browe around those cons' sites to see what kind of events they have going on in it. C8 <33

If you do it that way, then the seam will be at the top of the hat, and that doesn't quite look pretty. It's easy to flip the pattern over, though. :'D /sewing nerd

You could go to a craft store and pick up a fluffy... ball... thing. xD Or one of those styrofoam balls used for flower arranging. And then you could get a bit of craft foam and cut out some wings for it and stick 'em on there. Bam. Fairy. xD
