More like a conceptual drawing.. I will post a plan of the capital later with all the big buildings and stuff, for now this gives you a brief idea of the look of the floating islands landscape
Brief story about the Kingdom:
"The Avian Kingdom is largely located above the floating islands composed of a serie of separated small isles and a central one with the main city. By tradition, the Avian religion tells that they were given as a gift by their creator and ancestor Allerion, but the actual origins of the floating islands are nothing but a mystery.
Despite that, some of the population lives scattered in the peaks of the highest mountains around the world, some of them are organized in tribes and receive little to no influence of the Kingdom or the monarchy keeping a more primitive way of living. "
Atziluth - the city of heaven is the capital of the Avian Kingdom. Known for their luxury and eccentric way of living, the Avians pride themselves of living far away from the other races - and from their problems. However this will change a lot after the story goes to a certain point
The city is largely habitated by birds of prey, and its inhabitants receive them with great joy, for them it is a honor and pleasure if an eagle does a nest on your house

I just can't wait to finish with the exams to make some BG for Sicarius' homeland. He lives even in an ancient cave inside the hostile floating island. Ahh too many plans and not enough time. ;-;

Ahww, this is so good to hear! Honestly I love adding those random facts, they are so fun to write, I like to unleash my imagination a little and the ideas come more easily to me when sketching stuff than merely wondering about the world and characters
It is fun, sometimes I just have a random idea when drawing and usually they are the best, so it is a perfect combination
Honestly, I'm so happy to see people are liking it! You know this project is very important and special to me and I just feel very happy and more secure when I see people saying good things about it

Yay, the Draconians have an even higher respect for the dragons, some of them even treat them as objects of adoration and love to adorn them with gold and jewels

You know you play too much Warcraft when the floating islands immediately make you think of Nagrand in Outland.

I always remember of Avatar when drawing these islands, even if they are quite different
This scenario you showed me is very similar from what I envisioned for my race... it has all the stuff we mentioned plus giant lakes, bridges and even some big mountains surrounding the islands. I can imagine them living there
