I love both these characters, but Star is the winner here.
Steven may have his bubble and shield to defend himself pretty well against her attacks, but he can only use his powers for so long until they tire him out, and the only offensive attack that he can do is his shield throw, but that doesn't really do a whole lot, not to mention that he has little combat experience. Star has been training how to fight monsters ever since she was a little girl, and if her fists won't beat Steven, she's got her all powerful wand that can blast him to another dimension.
Steven will just get overpowered by Star's brute force and not be able to fight back against someone with so much more energy and power.

I want Steven to win, but he does;t have enough combat training or offensive capabilities. Star takes out multiple targets at once and uses fantastical and powerful magic attacks. As much as I hate to say it Steven is pretty outclassed in this scenario.

While I think Star would win, since her magic and combat skills outclass Steven, the boy has more than a few trump cards, such as his mother's shield. Sure, there's currently a limit to how many times he can summon it, but when hit with an attack, it creates vibrations that cancel out any and all magic in the vicinity, the perfect counter to Star's magic wand. Steven himself is half-alien, making him stronger and more durable than the average human, in sharp contrast to Star. His bubble shield is also incredibly durable, having survived the following:
* The tremendous pressure of an ocean trench.
* Being crushed by a falling injector.
* A shot from a death ray at point-blank range.
* A spaceship crash.
So yeah, Steven should just bide his time when Star attempts to overpower him.

Steven's got better defenses and all, but Star's got more experience and has a wand that can do pretty much whatever the plot demands. So overall I give this to Star.

On a one on one battle, Star COULD win, but Steven could literally just put up a bubble, and when Star was finally worn out, he could attack. The thing is, he has nothing GOOD to attack with, since Connie has his mom’s sword.

I'm sorry everybody, but I would have to say that Star would win this fight. Don't get me wrong I love Steven, but Star has more experience with fighting monsters, and fighting in general, while Steven is just getting used to
His powers, so star would win this fight.
