I really miss posting things here, so though it took a really long time on this connection, I did one. Arr.So a while back ~shirano commissioned me doubly, and the first one was to be Edward Elric in a certain kind of modern casual outfit. I know the obvious thing would be to put that cross-and-snake-and-wings-and-crown thing on his t-shirt, but, well... that's the obvious thing!!! So instead I made a reference to something else entirely. ^U^ I hate those bricks. >.< It's funny, until a little while ago (after I drew this), I knew next to nothing about this guy, and I've been solicited to draw him several times, and this is the first time I've done it.

Awesome job on the bricks. lol I would've gone crazy drawing them...well, I have drawn bricks before. I wouldn't want to draw and color bricks again...
The pants look pretty nice, but I'm mostly impressed with the hair. You tried a modern type of Ed, it seems.

Hehe I was expecting to see Mr. Ed the horse of course. However, this is just as good. I like how you shaded and highlighted the pants.

Haha nice shoes! I think the pose could do with some more gusto. ie, more of a thrust of the midsection. I find that a more relaxing way to lean against the wall rather than to press my back flat against it. I like how you showed the difference between the jeans and the shirt material. That's a pro use of highlights, that is! And I never realised how simple the bricks were until now. That's clever
