Minor Skill: Limited Tremorsense: A Geodeling doesn't really see, but can feel vibrations in the ground to sense it's surroundings. A Geodeling can sense an object or being within a 10 foot radius around it as long as the thing in question is in contact with a surface the Geodeling touches.

Her eyes change to silver when she's feeling an intense emotion like anger or pleasure. They flash when she lies, as well. Also, the sky around her will light up like lightning when those emotions are heightened or spurned on. For those on the receiving end of her lying, the flashing eyes and lightning are her not so subtle tells.

Short temper and loud mouth: Yllena acts first, thinks later. Insults are like honey on her tongue and just spill forth with little to no effort. Her lies, hypocrisy, and insults usually piss off a great deal of people and get her into more fights than normal means. However, due to her vulnerable mortal-ness, she usually emerges very injured.

  abnormal strength - Her strength will increase when she gains her immortality. Currently, however, she can easily lift 300 lbs.

  electricity conduit - She cant control electricity at all, however it does not effect her much. She can be shocked (and often generates static electricity around her) and not feel a thing. An annoying side of this is that she has a tendency to drain the battery life of certain things. Depending on the amount of electricity received, it may give her a boost like caffeine. Although it has not happened yet, were she to be struck by lightening, she would gain her immortality.

Minor Skills:

  heightened senses - self explanatory (They are simply heightened not enhanced. She can not see super far distances or hear from yards away.)

  information retention - she learns quickly (Especially in physical courses) and stores information away regardless of if it is useless or important.

Resolve of Stone: This monster has earned the ability to keep cool and collected under pressure (even if they don't show it on the outside). When there back is to the wall they have the determination to keep on going, giving them the ability to shrug off mundane discouragements and take twice as long to fatigue physically.

Personality:

Yllena is very much like a small yapping chihuahua. She thinks she's bigger and stronger than she is and lashes out without thought or regard to anyone or anything. She automatically assumes that she's invincible despite getting injured on an almost day to day basis. She's crude and insensitive. This girl loves to lie and only a very select few (family and a VERY small number of close friends) get to have a fully honest Yllena - though she is still uncontrollable. She DOES respect adults and instructors - (though she still cant hold her tongue around them and gets in trouble for her foul language and blatant sarcasm).

Her favorite hobbies are fighting, blackmail, and MMORPG video games. She usually plays as a tanking class and her most used attacks are "Provoke" and "Taunt".

Vakylries are usually born when a dying woman asks the gods for strenght and lightening hits her - at that moment the woman, the lightning, goddess Freya, and god Wóden come together to make a Vakyrie child. The children live in Valhalla till they decide to leave - never to return till death. Despite this, Valkyrie DO NOT possess any god powers whatsoever. They are a separate race entirely. Children can also be born of other Valkyrie. The Valkyrie gene is prominant and ONLY in females. The draw their energy from electricity and create lightening during times that their emotions are heightened. A child born of a Valkyrie and a male of another race are more or less humans until they gain immortality. She will only come into her full maturity as a Valkyrie when she makes her first kill or loses her virginity: She will then be struck with a bolt of lightning and thus, gain her immortality along with any latent powers that she may or may not posses from her father's side of the family.

Character Background:

Yllena is the daughter of a Valkyrie and a fire demon. Her mother, Adelaide the Vivacious is also Vaklyrie born and so Yllena is 3rd generation. Her father, Dornin, is a soldier. Despite her mother's sisters living with the New Orleans' sect of Vaklyie, Adelaide and Dornin preferred the northern climate of the US and lived in New York for a time - where both Adelaide and Yllena could enjoy the constant energy and electricity of the city. While her father tried (and failed) to be the authority figure in the house, for the most part, Yllena grew up with little to no rules in her life.

Her mother was a ball of energy - always sitting on the edge of her seat waiting for something new to come along. Yllena learned from her and the two were fearsome - more like friends than mother and daughter. Dornin could rarely keep them in line - though he loved his wife's boundless energy and adored the fact that his daughter wanted nothing more than to be in the heat of battle. Because she could not reveal anything about her parents or her life to other children in New York, she developed the habit to lie constantly. Something that, along with her urge to pick fights, got her beaten up on more than one occasion. Something that would only slightly worry her parents - for the most part they encouraged it.

However, due to the upcoming Ascension, (a time every 500 years where certain factions of creatures battle each other in a great war to even out numbers as a checks and balances system) Adelaide and Dornin realized how serious it would be if Yllena got involved. She, of course, wouldnt hesitate to fight...which would be fine except for the fact that she was so mortal. If she were put in a battle with the other factions, she'd certainly die quickly. Searching for a way to keep her safe and out of harm of the factions, they located Monster Academy. Enrolling her, they hoped to keep Yllena in sanctuary till she received her immortality (and hopefully some form of control for her rampant aggression).

Roleplay Info:

I'm currently married so I do have a life outside of Deviantart. I'll respond as often as I can, however do give me some leniency. I prefer to roleplay in literature format, using developed paragraphs as opposed to script form or one sentence replies (unless we are online at the same time).

I DO have a Skype account, however I do not get on it often. I CAN Rp via Skype if need be, but I much rather roleplaying via Deviantart notes or Email - so I can keep track of the replies better.

Yllena's father dropped a warm hand on her shoulder and they both looked up at the gates of Monster Academy. Her new home. It looked boring. She gave an exaggerated sigh, her head rolling forward till her green gaze was on the concrete. SO not how she wanted to spend her year. She thought she was heading down to New Orleans with mom and dad. UGHHHH this SUCKED. Her father's deep rumble of a voice interrupted her mental complaints.

"Please at least TRY to act like a civil person and not a hellion."

"But dad...you RAISED me to be a hellion. I like being a hellion. What the f-" She caught his sharp look and quickly changed the word on her tongue (Something she would ONLY do for her father alone.) "f....rack am I supposed to do? LEARN? Please. I'd rather be beating someone's ass online."

"Oh, good luck with that," Her mother mumbled around a long red piece of twizzler. Her eyes were on a packet of information. "Looks like you will be living without video games. Sucks for you, babe."

"WHAT?! Ok that tears it! I'm not going! I'M NOT I'M NOT!!!"

Without a single word, ignoring his daughter's loud shrieks of protest, he hefted Yllena up over his shoulder, took her luggage in his free hand and led her past the gates to deposit her in the courtyard. "Have fun, kiddo. We'll keep in touch. Dont kill any other students."
