I know I get this comment a lot on the anime/videogame costumes I make. I just wanted to let you all know that it is never my goal to make a perfect accurate costume. Infact none of my cosplay costumes have ever been accurate. While I have an enormous amount of respect for cosplayer who's goal is to make it picture perfect, I prefer to add my own twist on all the designs I take on. As do my customers

People who say it doesn't look just like the art have unrealistic expectations. They're drawings and graphics that can be made to look completely unrealistic at will. Physical materials don't work the same way!

I love your take on this costume! CLAMP artbook designs often literally do not translate into real life at all...so you've done a great job redesigning this and making it both original and gorgeous! Love the fabrics and colors.

I have always wanted to do this for a cosplay. This may not be 100% accurate but damn its close enough. I dare someone to make, wear and walk in a 100% accurate version.

I think this is gorgeous!! And people saying it doesn't look like the picture... I'm kinda shocked by that. If you made it *exactly* like the pic it would be so poofy you wouldn't be able to fit through a door while wearing it!! haha!

Regardless, it's beautiful <3 I'd rather see more costumes with their own 'twist' rather than just perfectly accurate like the costume. If you do add a twist to it, it should be outstanding and that's what your work is. Incredible!

I agree. Not all costumes have to be picture perfect. In fact, most of the times it makes the costume look fake. Some things may look great animated, but in real life it looks flat. So I'd like to think about different fabrics, different shades, extra accessoires and patterns and that sort of stuff to make it look more 'natural'

By the way, I for one LOVE that you add your own twists to the costumes instead of making them picture-accurate. A part of all fandom is creation, and what you do always sticks true (and often improves upon) what is already there. We relate to fandom by modifying that fandom to what we like, what speaks to us personally, so your modifications just make sense. Plus, they're pretty
