Description
The little ferret is all grown up and looks exactly like his father.Drawn with Open Canvas and DogWaffle using a tablet in 8 hours or so.
Based on JKR's Harry Potter books.

the highlights in the picture are amazing...i still haven't quite figured out how everyone gets OpenCanvas and stuff like that to look like pencil but it is really cool!

Thanks, ShortFencer. By the way, hope this can help you figure out my technique: [link] . It's a tutorial for this pic. The highlights are done with the half-transparent "add" layer. You can especially see that effect on the different snake stages. The pencil effect, well, it's a lot of 1-2 pix brush strokes on a large canvas. If I didn't have my graphics tablet, it would take me twice as long.

No problem about the tutorial. I thought someone might be interested to see how I draw one of these. It does take a lot of time to finish a pic. Get ready for 7-8 hours of digital painting if you ever feel adventurous enough to try one.

I can relate. Need more sleep too, but no way it's happening. My girlfriend usually yells at me to get to bed on Sunday nights when I stay up till 3AM drawing the comic. But, noo, I am stubborn.

i still stay up way too late but i'm usually doodling, staring at the ceiling, or reading something...and then my parents question my sleeping habits in the morning...

How intriguing. I'm loving the snake with the skull. Draco definitely looks like Lucius - It's the long hair that does it. But he still has a childish side to him Lucius doesn't have. Lucius tends to look infinitely more arrogant, composed and downright evil. I like this because even though Draco is v. Sytherin-y and superior-looking he still has a bit of childishness still in him. I love the way is hair falls so gracefull on his shoulder, though I'm not sure why but it doesn't look altogether attatched to his head - a little out of place.
