Description This is one of the front panels for the MLP leather Corset. It goes along with the Luna front panel and the Nightmare Moon back panel.
This Panel is hand carved Leather, hand tooled, Stained, Painted in acrylic and sealed and oiled anywhere from 5-10 times.
I will post photos of me wearing it when I've completely finished sealing and oiling it so everyone can see the finished product laced up.
Each front panel is approximately 9 inches wide by 9 inches tall. The metal eyelets are all hammered in by hand.
Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Is the whole corset for sale? How much?

Yes, although most of my leather corset have to be custom made to fit their owner. This particular corset is about a size 16 women's. I can make any size and any design you can imagine. I've done corsets for cosplay, steam punk, and pirate and gypsy Ren Faire.
A complicated design on a corset this large with full color like this one is about $250.
I take custom orders on all leatherwork all year long, so if you ever want something let me know.

Wow, I can't believe you actually carved this, it looks fantastic. Amazing job, it must have taken you a long time to make. Keep up the incredible work!

Thanks! I work pretty quickly once I decide which project to work on I think I finished the carving and tooling on all three leather panels of the corset in 4 hours (which equates to two days, since only I work on it during my kids' naptimes). Then it takes a day to stain it and let it dry. Then I painted all three panels while I watched my new DVDs of the Hobbit and Les Miserable,...
Then it takes 3-4 days to seal and oil them because it has to dry completely between coats.
All told, when I get an order for a leather piece it usually takes a week to finish it.
I love leather carving, I've made western belts and dog collars for years, so it's nice to be able to start putting my favorite MLP and fantasy characters on leather.
I'm making a Dr Who belt for my husband now, so keep an eye out for it!

I will definitely keep my eye out for that! I think that's amazing that you can do that, I love that there are so many ways to express how you love mlp through art, and this is a really unique piece. You did an incredible job. I too work quickly when I have decided what I am going to work on as well, and it takes me about three to four days to make anything really worth looking at. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see more!

That's exactly how I feel when people look and enjoy the art that I make, it makes me try that much harder to make my next piece better than the last! I feel that people deserve to get the best when they see my art and I try to give it to them. I really love the fact that you made Celestia, because ironically I had just made a Celestia pic and then when I saw this I was like 'Awesome'. Again keep up the incredible work I can't wait to see more.
