When my first marriage broke up, I bought a house and decorated the kitchen yellow and blue. It was my favourite room ever: my sanctuary.

I painted my living area yellow, and my bedroom red. I haven't gotten to the kitchen yet. But i hear you. You have to make your living quarters your haven from an insane world.

My boat is pretty neutral at the moment, but cosy and safe. I am decorating it soon. I want to make it 'art deco' I'm excited about it and hope it will work.

Beautiful. I absolutely love those shades. What technique did you use to get that blue? The spiderweb in the back is a little distracting, as is the blade of grass intersecting the stem, but really, this is a fantastic image.

I used the auto enhancement option in PSE7. I considered taking out the web but... I didn't.
