Description Katoomba is located in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney and this is an exmple of the contrasts that you will find in the varied landscapes. Quite often the valley remains full of clouds until mid-morning.

Many years ago, I was in the blue mountains of Victoria, or are they named something else, it's so long ago now I dont really remember, but i do remember getting car sick from alll the bends in the road ...

They are probably named something different in Victoria but they are would be both part of the Great Dividing Range that runs from Victoria through NSW and into Queensland.

I'd say that the roads have imrpoved since you were there last
