Poor thing... but gorgeous picture!
You're so good at drawing nighttime sceneries.
Her outfit is beautiful, and I love the spear-like legs too.

No critique from me on this drawing I love it! Everything is in harmony with each other! Her outfit is filled with detail and some artists could loose theirselves in those details, but you didn't and that's really worth something!

The only tip I could give with this work, is trying out some different compsitions. You used central composition here, which can make a picture more static and less exciting. It doesn't bother me here, but it could go wrong in combination with such an anxious/angsty theme like you used in this work. The trick is to put the main character just a little bit out of the center of the picture. It gives more tension to a picture!

But I love this work anyways, like I said before. Great job

I love this picture! The light is fantastic, and I love the colouring a lot. The overall character design is so cool, and I loooove the idea of spear legs, and how she can change into a tree! It's cool that there's thought behind it. I think maybe you could have made the spear part a little longer, but it could just be me and my thing for way-too-long legs XD

This looks so pretty! I like how not just her expression, but also her position and pose show that she's struggling and really doesn't want to be stuck there. Also, the design of her outfit is really interesting. It's definitely nature, and at the same time, I can almost picture her in a kimono.

The coloring is so beautiful! With the way you've done the shadows and lighting, it really does look moonlit. And the detail you put into this is just amazing. >w< Such a beautiful picture~

I really love how you did the moon! Sooooo often, nighttime pictures are tuined by the moon, either because a) it looks like crap or b) it overpowers the main focus of the picture, rather than just giving it the air of night. Yours is not distracting on either of those counts! On the same note, the stars are the same way, they add a lot to the picture without taking it over. This is helped A LOT by the fact they look so much like the droplets of dew on the web.

I like how the leaves have kind of a blue-ish hue. Since the fairy is a truer green, she seems even more a part of the forest than they do! The web is gorgeous, so iridescent and fragile looking. And the water at the bottom sort of fading into sky is just breath taking.

NOW. To comment on the fairy herself… HOW SAD. D: I just wish I could reach into the picture and free her! She looks so frightened, and like she knows she’s a goner but still clinging to hope of rescue or escape. I love how her hair flows, the texture is fabulous, and the BEADS. Oh, I love the beads! They look so smooth. The layers of petals on the flower in her hair as well as the ones on her outfit look delicate and time consuming. ;D I like those blue, yellow, and purple hair ornaments as well- especially the purple one.

Her ears are very delicate and fairy-like, and the earrings tie off the more subtle Japanese influence without being too obvious about it. I already mentioned her facial expression, but I’ll just add that I love her eyes, eyebrows, and plump lips. Her wings tie together all the colors very very well, as well as adding to the fantastical aspect of the picture.

I can’t say much about the outfit and marking on her chest other than: how perfect for a forest fairy! I want her belt. Badly. This MAY sound creepy but… she has some nice legs. In a sense that she actually has thighs and they’re voluptuous, in a realistic way as opposed to a ‘sexy’ way. And the bit about her legs turning into spikes so she can become a tree is GENIUS. Also, nice touch, making them kind of flailing instead of just hanging there. One would flail about in a spider web, methinks, not dangle there and look pretty.
