i just realised it kinda looks like a robot wolverine, but i think at the time i was going for a fusion of samurai helm shapes with an industrial enclosed helm. obviously it was kinda manga inspired. i wasn't planning on posting it but i really liked the forms on this one. turned out nice and compact looking, almost utilitarian or mass produced.
iunno, honestly im sure i had an idea of something i was going for but its been so long i really cant remember.
