Wow this is ancient! Originally I thought that after Sura's Mother died; Sakhata changed his angry ways and became mates with Malkoi's Mother. The lion fighting with Sura is one of Sakhata's and Malkoi's Mother's cub's (the other being Sundara-

I'm not sure if I'm keeping this story arc but I always like the idea of Malkoi having siblings (and feeling insecure about their luscious manes, lol).

Um...it's sorta complicated. It would take to long to explain in one comment.
In short Vestauru (the brown lion) is Sura's (the grey lion) half-younger brother. The blue-maned lion in the distance is Kongwe (Sura's full younger brother). Kongwe, Vestauru and Sundara (who isn't in this picture) have come to find Sura (who left his pride when he had a disagreement with his father).
Now Vestauru is a douche-bag muscle-head so when he bumped into the grey lion, he made every effort to be....well....a douche. Then that's how it's lead up to this moment. Now Kongwe has to come rectify the situation.
(Sura doesn't know Vestauru is his younger brother. He's never met Vestauru and Sundara.)
