An old piece i hunted out. Painted really fast and not quite finished the night before seeing Alice Cooper live in 1991. Signed by the great man himself on the day of the gig.Related content

I like this. it is reminiscent of the old concert posters and photos one would see in the fanzines of the mid to late 70s. I think it is really great that you were able to get Alice to sign it as well.

you rotter, a short story, one of my best friends years ago called candy, was on a pub crowl one evening in totingham court road in london and asked me to go with her i was not that wellso i didn't go, she passed the marquee club and bumped in to her brother there, in a queue for a secret gig for alice cooper the trash tour and the queue was massive and she got in , i was so pissed at her and my self, so i mist my chance to see him, but we had tickets to see creaming jesus there a few nights after the end, have you heard of creaming jesus before, punky goths with a thrashing sound.

Great piece! Even though he has legendary status as the creator of shock rock I think he's underrated musically.
In the Alice Cooper Band era he did things that are associated with Black Sabbath (whic I also LOVE and indeed, invented lots of stuff) before them. He also was important shaping Heavy Metal even when he was never "metal" exactly...
