Hardly. Normally it's pretty easy to just think of your version of Alucard as the one from Hellsing Abridged, where he can be scary, but is more hilarious than scary (mostly). Once he goes all-out though... If he gets to the point where even Anderson and the Captain are scared, it's hard to think of him as anything other than terrifying (in my mind anyway).
