This is the cover of a little story I'm planning to hopefully get up. It is designed to be a legend in the Pokemon world and was based off of Volcarona's Dex entry. The style was inspired by the opening of Wind Waker.(Love that game wish I had the Wii U version) In honor of that I put Wind Waker Hylian on the cover. In the Hyrule Historia it is shown that each hylian letter corresponds to a japanese "letter". I turned the title into Japanese and then used the graph to translate the Japanese into WW Hylian. The title actually says The Magical Creature that Became the Sun because that's what they used to call Pokemon as seen in Arceus and the Jewel of Life.Page 1:Β firekitsune08.deviantart.com/aβ¦

This picture almost matches how Volcarona appears in my mind when I read its dex entry.Β This work really makes Volcarona look even more like something out of ancient times.
