Description
This is the Bali Pony. A picture I did for the horse club for the horse of the month. Since I am the founder of this club I thought it would be smart to show what a Bali Pony is.

History

The Bali is a very ancient stock of horse but unfortunetly, little ancestry is really known about this horse. It is believed that this horse was taken to Indonesia by the Chinese and probably evovled into what we see here today do to the Mongolian horse bloodlines.
This horse is mainly found on the island of Bali, is not really a horse most would want because of its lack of athletic qualities, you could say. But this horse is sometimes used by the natives as a sort of pack pony. These horses are extremely strong for their small size. They can survive is harsh weathers with minimum care. Bali Ponys usually stand around 12-13 hands high, are almost always that dun sort of color, and can have some different stripe variations which only inhance their ancient roots, and they are also warm-blooded.
