Description
My first and so far only go at a realistic acrylic painting. The amaryllis was in a magazine photo, the fabric is my own creation. There's several flaws here I am aware of, primarily the background having some ugly shades in it, but overall it came out better than I had hoped for. I had to photograph the image, and the lighting makes the darker red tones in the flower look a little harder than they really are.
