Description
Fir pressed another acorn cup into the soil, wiggling it to make sure it was sturdy before summoning the magic deep within her to cast a small flame into the cup. The sun was setting and she wanted to get the path of flames finished before the other Fae began their moonlight hunt for tricks and treats.

"SCREEE HEE HEE HEEE!!" Fir almost dropped the stack of cups when a loud screech came from behind her.

Atop the carefully carved pumpkin Maple cackled and flung a cape around in an exaggerated manner.

"How was that sis?" Maple called out proudly, "Will this be enough to make the kids jump?"

Fir glared at her sister, "Yes yes, but if you don't come down here and help set up the lights, the kids won't follow them and you won't be scaring anyone!!"

Maple grinned sheepishly, "Ok ok....though that would mean more berries for us!"

She climbed down from the pumpkin and trotted over to her sister who rolled her eyes before continuing to place acorn cups.
