Description

For Cubebrush's 2nd day, Treasure, I wanted to try my hand at interpreting an iconic scene from Indiana Jones. I'm really happy with the end result!

Funny enough, I recently just finished watching all four of the Indiana Jones films Man you gotta love the classics, and I'm glad you decided to draw this one

Yeah, they are my favorite adventure films, though I do think the Crystal Skull and the Temple of Doom are a touch silly
I'm glad you like it!

To be honest, I kind of like the Temple of Doom the most, mainly for its action but after watching it again, I realized the story and characters were a little off. As for Crystal Skull, I had no problems with that film until the resolution in the end which really took out the purpose of what the movies really meant.
I like all your work man You really bring out the liveliness in them. Not to mention how you have such a unique Disney kind of style

Yeah, Crystal Skull's ending is what really bugged me about it, it was like
aliens? Seriously? That's the best you can do Hollywood? And thank you so much

I know, especially since the film series have been mostly true to sticking with historical fiction that's believable than going a sci-fi route which we've seen in other movies that actually make a lot more sense. Not to mention the movie didn't really build us up for that encounter.

Yeah, there was barely any lead-up, and then the reveal felt a little forced.

My thoughts exactly. I wouldn't call the movie terrible but just out of place. Not to mention the female villain having Physic powers, what happened to that?

Who even knows anymore, lol, it just kind of went off the rails there.
