From the night, I beckon thee to dawn.
From the darkest reaches and far beyond,
Calm thee here to me.
Gaze upon the Wall before us,
And all its wonders hereof.
All the jagged colors, all the sharper seams;
Pieces, little ones, pieces of a world of past.
See the reflections in the shards;
Red of blood and fire,
Blue of tears and rain;
Black of pain and screams of heart,
The yellow of a summer's light.
The mosaic of the world's one soul,
And I ask you now to make a part.
Bring me all the broken pieces of your lives,
The tattered edges of your lonely hearts.
The last fragment of a shattered mind,
The torn tear of grief so alone.
Take all the broken shards,
And make them something beautiful.
From the ashes of despair,
Bring forth its own radiated light.
From your eyes and dying song,
Place them on the Wall.
Recycle so much pain,
And make it bring some good
Where you prove is needed.
