Description The Peterbilt 359-70 is a solution to a common problem found on the roads. How can we squeeze as much truck in as little space as possible, and still make it comfortable? Peterbilt came up with this thing, affectionately called the 'Pug' by truckers. It features a taller grill, a tilting cab with a super short doghouse in the middle (Height depending on the engine selected), and a 70 inch Bumper to Back of Cab length, not including the sleeper. It is available with all Unibuilt Sleeper options shown here in this handy dandy diagram. Buy yours today, and rule the highways in style!

This never existed, nor did anything like it unless you want to consider the bubble nose and bullnose cabovers. It would, however, exist in a fictional worldbuild of mine called 'Covellia', a pseudo-U.S. nestled up against a pseudo-europe that never quite left what some consider the golden age of trucking in the United States. Maximum Length Laws and fixed freight rates still reign with an iron fist, and lack of standardized length laws mean that you have three zones of length to worry about when it comes to moving freight. Truck manufacturers and trucking companies, however, are still looking for every which way that they can to maximize payload while retaining as much space within the cab as they can. These particular examples would have been popular in the North-East region of the country, where the maximum length remained 45 feet total, while in Midwestern and South Eastern Covellia, it was a 55 foot max. Having a mostly flat floor in the cab, and a totally flat sleeper would have made these extremely popular trucks among drivers who were space conscientious, the 36 inch sleeper likely being the most common option.
