Somewhere out there there's a demotivational poster saying that the opening credits for the Japanese dub of TFA makes Sentinel, who the artist dubbed the biggest douche in Transformers history, look badass.Here's my retaliation.
This is one of the best parts of the opening, plain and simple. I love it.

What I've always told people is to compare him before and after Elita "died." Before he was goofy and friendly; after he started being very strict about going by the book, because he's convinced that when you don't, something bad will happen, like him losing Elita.
I feel so poor for him... Am I the only one who cringes when he screams her name as he falls?

oh yeah, the way he screams for her is just heart wrenching. the way he yells at Optimus you know he's just projecting his own thoughts of himself.
oh he's just such a sweet spark down deep i know it. and the one picture, i don't know if it's here in this club or not, of him Elita and Optimus are sitting and Elita is making a spider shadow puppet.

That part just... Oi. It's like... some self-loathing and some blaming Optimus for not trying harder to save Elita. I don't know...
He is, which is one of his most endearing qualities. I know exactly which one you mean-- I'm pretty sure it's in the group, but if not, it will be shortly.
