Once upon a time there was a woman, one Dana Dearden, who was completely obsessed with Superman. Once upon a time, she took possession of some mysterious coins during a heist that turned out to have been blessed by the gods, so she obtained superpowers. She wanted to be Mrs Superman, but instead she was called Obsession.

In With this Ring, OL accidentally gets her fired from her job (she was interning at GBS), and she had been holding a grudge ever since. Except that (when this picture was drawn, at least), she recently met OL who tried to help her with her unfortunate situation. Her Obsession persona was immediately re-styled after OL by the readers.
