Hello! I'm from ProjectCommet's Comment Tag :3 the word I came here with was "trees" I feel like this one is a good choice for that task. The trees here aren't just part of the back ground, the edge and encompass the character , coming up with just as much or even more presence than the girl herself. I'm curious what is being blown from her hands. Before reading the title  ( I was going strictly on image when flipping through your gallery) i thought it was cherry blossoms and the light kimono and the fact that it is literally open up to her thighs at one point with out her looking like she is freezing only solidified the fact. There is no way this is a winter forest unless she is a vampire or perhaps some sort of super natural being? all in all a good picture

Hello! Apologies for the long wait, but my Christmas break is finally over so you can finally have your turn on receiving a comment for 's Comment Tag . The word I was tagged with is "Snow", and while I see someone had already commented on this (with the same word, no less), it's the closest image to fitting the word, and I'd rather avoid commenting on an older pic of yours that may suit the word better.

So to start off, I dig the monochromatic look and the pen-strokes in the trees. The strokes, however can look neater around the hair and clothing.

Here's an example to give you some sort of idea and how to do different pen strokes, to make them look less scribblish, but still have that organic feel to it that creates texture or shade. michaelbrack.deviantart.com/ar…  michaelbrack.deviantart.com/ar…

I also feel that the petals flowing from her hand are a bit too uniform and don't look very natural. Petals or leaves will usually scatter around when blown in the wind, and even if you're going for a magical look, placing them liberally (but have them going the same direction) would make them look much more floaty and dynamic.

You got the basics of anatomy it looks like, now what you need to do is get the body to look more accurate. Look up references of the human body so you can better create it. That's all I have for the things I think need most improvement. Take your time when drawing, so lines to cross where they're not suppose to, and practice pen-strokes and cross-hatching if you are going to continue with this style of drawing.

Hullo! Here for the Comment Tag at ProjectComment ! My word was "Snow"

This one immediately drew me in. All the detail and the care in the penstrokes are lovely. I love how the sky looks; how the broken sort of lines there look with the swirl of the leaves and how the trees aren't one solid patch of black, but have a texture to them with the little white spots. I like how clean the white parts are, since I know how hard it can be to make them come out white enough even with color adjustments and digital cleaning. The picture has lovely contrast overall.

Some parts of the figure though, are a bit off. I didn't realise at first that the white sticks under her dress were her legs. They're much too thin, and placed over just a bit too far over to the right, I think. Remember to sketch out the whole body to make sure everything fits together properly. c: I also notice that no where on her actual body is shaded, also and at first when I only noticed the face was unshaded, I though it might have been because of worries that it wouldn't come out right, but since the rest of the body is unshaded maybe it was intentional? Taken piece by piece it looks a bit strange that way, especially the face since her hair, eyes, and lips are shaded. I would also suggest practicing longer smoother strokes for the hair, since it currently looks messy and rushed compared the the rest of the picture.

Keep practicing with the pens and experiment with pressure for different shades and stroke widths. c: Pens can be hard to use but they make really pretty things and you've already got a very good handle on them. I don't have a tag for you since I was the last in the line. C:

First of all, it's really awesome that you hold raffles like this - it's a great way of spreading the love and kindness in the community, and as a way of supporting you, I'll Watch you Anyway Aka looks amazing! It's kinda like something you would find in an actual manga, especially with the impressive details. She looks as if she's opening up a portal of some kind - I could be wrong though
