Description Part of #PMD-Explorers

Edit: I am such a derpface. Forgot my scanner scans color pencil drawings strange under the Illustration setting (of all things) and didn't notice the fail quality. Updated with a better quality. OTL

Thought I'd play around with a softer coloring style and this was the end result.

This is Aya's father Kasen. He's a Linguist who often travels, studying other languages and various dialects scattered across the land. He also has some familiarity with ancient texts and offers archeologists help with excavation sites. His flames serve as a torchlight underground and he has since honed his digging skills to help out in any way he can (Aya learned a trick or two from him when it comes to digging).

He had a family rather late in his life due to his traveling tendencies. Kasen didn't want to leave his family constantly wondering if he'd ever come home. However, when Aya was big enough to take care of herself and her mother, Kasen set out once again into the world.

The older Typhlosion has a habit of finding orphans and tries his best to find them homes or a place they can stay for a little while (one reason why he ends up staying away from home for long periods of time). Of course, things don't always work out and that is something that always weighs heavily on his mind.

Aya gets her fur tufts from her father. XD

Awe, that's so cute! I love how she got the tufts from her father. Man, I really need to get a hold of a scanner sometime soon.

Like the back story and information about her dad~

Thanks!

All-in-one printers are love even though the scanning quality isn't as great as stand alone scanners. Better than nothing!

Good luck finding a scanner. I want to see more of your art. <333

Yeah, I should really do something tomorrow. That, and I might have found a scanner, but figuring out how to use it and making sure it won't cost $$$ to use it is a must do first. School stuff is confusing.

Oh? Is there a scanner on campus? If it's in a computer lab of sorts those are usually free to use. I know I used the campus scanner loads of times. XD And it was a beautiful scanner. *Misses it*
