Julia x Laguna XDXD And because I can't say Fall-time, you have to be happy with Autumn XDStep 1: Look for refs (gosh, took ages because there are hardly any good Galbadian soldier uniform refs XP)
Step 2: Sketch out in blue colour pencil. Draw out in 2B pencil.
Step 3: Add lighting effects and text design yada yada.
Not Laguna x Raine because I thought this pairing was worth a mention. And it looks funky because he's swinging her around as he kisses her X3 (I guess this is before he gets posted off to some outpost...) The leaves are supposed to be heart-shaped, mind you 0_o
And see if you can spot the tears...

I love them both. I feel like Laguna/Julia is a sweet, heartbreaking mass of unrealized potential, which is (in a way) realized, to some degree, through Squall and Rinoa; though, although I agree that Laguna/Raine could have been rebound, I still feel like Raine and Ellone became irreplaceable to him as he was in Winhill, which is why he changed/stayed. Really, that triangle and Laguna's story as a whole becomes all the more interesting to me because it can be interpreted in different ways, and the whole concept of "What if he had ditched Winhill and gone back to Julia in time to beat Carroway/What if that mission hadn't gone badly" or "What if he had never sought out Ellone," etc. But just, man. "Eyes On Me" still gets me a bit; things just got all mucked up for them.

Yeah! This is my favourite favourite! I am so sad that their story didn't turn out as they wished. But it turned out that Laguna became very happy with Raine, even though she died too early.
When I watched the ending movie for the first time, it was when Laguna was standing by Raine's grave when I burst out crying!!! Boo-Hoo!
