Description
This piece always reminded me of the idea of appearance vs reality. That is to say, how one presents him/herself compared with how they are really feeling. So I combined a poised and almost regal pose and expression with some very very red hair that is anything but poised. I added the tear tracks in the last minuted mainly because I like how water colours look when allowed to drip, but I think it adds to the message quite nicely.

I think I got a bit carried away with the hair though...
