I've always enjoyed ancient egyptian symbolism, I love the current theme! I've wanted an udjat tattoo since I was a young teen actually. I've not gotten around to saving money for a tattoo yet though haha. Do you have any pictures of your ankh?

You know, I do have a picture of it when it was in its early stages It's part of a larger winged scarab tattoo on my upper back. It's kind of a widely-distributed image, I've seen it on everything from t-shirts to posters, etc. I actually saw someone else on dA had a tattoo almost the same, too - but it really doesn't bother me because I love it that much

And here's mine with some color added to the scarab! I was stretching my arms forward so he's gained some weight since the last picture LOL : [link]

The wings are going to be a pink/red/orange/gold gradient, and the ankh itself will be like it is made of gold. I get it finished in a few weeks!

Pardon all the links! I just really love sharing it I don't believe in a 100% copy of someone else's tattoo idea, but I do believe that a mainstream design should be open to interpretation by the individual!

From what I can see done on yours, it will look absolutely gorgeous once done! It already looks great. It may be a design that people have had before (I think i've seen similar things on others as well), but I agree that it's great to see the different ways the same thing can be visually interpreted due to the specific artist's style or skill

thank you! ^^ it's actually pretty easy to do! I use a program called Qubicle Constructor (you can google it..it's a free program ). You can create 3D images with giant pixel blocks and export a rotating animation of what you've made. I then just import it to Imageready and do some editing to the colours and shading of the frames :3
