Heya. I did say I'd do Juugo this week, right?He's the latest new character in the Naruto series. However, his appearance still haven't been entirely revealed yet even with the release of Chapter 349...!
Just the upper part of his face along with his cursed seal "rash" (lol, what else do I call it?). So what to do, what to do?
So, I decided that I'd just practice my inking... and try to do a sort of "magazine" cover featuring all of Team Sasuke.
So if you're wondering why this looks different from my usual work, it's just me experimenting and practicing my inking skills. (You aren't missing out on any pencilling work - it was VERY lightly done.)
Though, I do need a tablet badly, I think.
But anyway, hope you guys enjoy. I'll probably resume soft pencilling again with my next few projects. And next week if Juugo is revealed fully, I'll probably draw him again, heh!

This is really great GK. Really sort of pushing yourself here, I can tell, to do something different. I think I already said at MH how it reminds me of Bleach. I just love the panelling and the thickness of the lines. It's totally eye-catching. Very bold. I like!

Great because my intention was exactly to try to make it stand out and "eye-catching" 
Though, maybe I'll try to do more "fine inking" later on, though... I do feel like the inking here did take away a little bit from my Sasuke/Karin/Suigetsu panels... but in order to make it all constant with Juugo's panel, I had to make some sacrifices >_<

i am currently inking your yamato pic as it is your best pic yet. but you sure don't make it easy for colorist out there.lol keep up you excellent line art

Sorry, yeah, I'm starting to realize that. I'm thinking about going back and inking a lot of my art on separate sheets of paper to make them all easier for colorists. I'm also going to make a point of doing that for all my new stuff, too.

There's something about the shading on the Juugo guy's hand that looks just awesome
But...um. That girl with glasses is a real character?
Overall, nice stuff, Ken-chan! I still prefer your pencil stuff, of course, but you're on to a great start. Much better than anything I can do now. XD I always hated pens, anyway. They hate me so much
And get a tablet!!!! The wonders of tablet is that they're easier to handle then sketches!

I used to have a love-and-hate relationship with pens myself, but that was before I finally worked with this super-cool printer/copier that I have now.
It reproduces my drawing exactly the same quality and in almost all the same detail as the original penciled drawing, but takes out all my hand marks. It's how I've been able to get more "clean" inked drawings out lately
And the best part is I don't lose my original pencils anymore by inking over them. I wish I had had this printer a loooong time ago.
And yes, Karin's a real character in the series. After browsing NF this week she's turned out to have built quite a fanbase it seems...!

Well, I'm 26 now, you got a lot of time to get one. You'll probably get it much sooner than I did
And this printer/coper still comes with its own headaches, it's not that big, so I still have to kinda limit myself to trying to do scenes that will fit the copier/printer's area, so it's not always that much fun.
Though, it does help teach me how to draw my figures a little smaller than usual
