This has been sitting on my PC since last Autumn, and its also the best drawing of Dixie I've ever done.That long-ass ponytail, pom-poms, and pudgy belly make her look like a plush toy or something.
Hey, look! Candy finally showed up! I did this drawing after being dissatisfied with DKC Returns. It made
me think about what kind of team interactions there could be with more of the family involved in the
Kong's krusade, and this save barrel cheer seemed appropriate for Candy and Dixie. I was going for a
girl-power theme, but that kinda got cancelled out with Candy flashing her undies and Dixie not wearing
pants in the first place (not to mention they're both monkeys).
And months later, it led to others.

That looks great, and Candy actually looks foxy instead of weird.
I agree she should have been in lieu of Professor Chops as a cheerleader or something.
