I only discovered this movie a month or so ago. I can't believe I'd been missing out! (It's about time I saw more than the spaghetti scene out of context.)
Out of the pound dogs, I'd say Boris, Pedro and Peg are my favorites. The song is my favorite too, although it's tough to choose between it and "Bella Notte". Boris is funny in that he briefly satirizes cynical Russian philosophy (as far as I know) in cheerful manner.
Did you know that the bass singer in the scene is Thurl Ravenscroft, the voice of Tony the Tiger and the guy who sang "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"? Not to mention all the voices he did for Disneyland rides...

I've seen it twice now- I've got the Blu-ray.
There are LOTS of movies and cartoons I haven't seen, or didn't see until recently, that to the movie buff, sound like a crime. Like I only saw the Rescuers movies until a couple weeks ago.
Technically, it was Alan Reed (the original voice of Fred Flintstone) that did Boris' speaking voice, and Thurl Ravenscroft did the singing (Bull's too). Thurl was also Tangaroa the tree in The Enchanted Tiki Room, the lead singing bust in the Haunted Mansion, and one of the singing pirates in Pirates of the Caribbean.
